Insurgents storm houses.
A small group of insurgents storm two houses and kill and injure villagers in the remote town of Narathiwat, a district of Rang Ngae, Thailand.
Gunfire was heard for several minutes emitting from the small city when several insurgents stormed two houses and killed nine people. Several others where injured when they tried to stop the insurgents from killing more people.
Authorities and news media are being blocked from entering the town by the local villagers who are protesting the slayings and are vowing to issue their own retribution for the killings.
There are no immediate claims of responsibility. |
